N.H.S. Treatment
The full range of N.H.S. treatment is available at Wilton Dental surgery. Some treatment may not be covered by N.H.S. contract and, if you wish, this may be provided under private contract.
Denplan and Private Care Plan
The practice offers it own Private Care Plan in addition to the Denplan Care Plan, both are increasingly popular schemes, whereby for a modest monthly payment, you may receive all the benefits of Private Dental Care. Treatments with air abrasion (no local anaesthetic or drilling in most cases) are available.. usually on a private basis. Please ask any member of staff for more information.
Domicillary Visits
Patients who, for medical reasons, are unable to leave their homes, can receive limited dental treatment at home on request.
Anaesthesia
Local anaesthesics are routinely used for all procedures requiring control of sensation. Intra venous sedation and general anaesthesia are available only on a referral basis. On the rare occasions when sedation is indicated, an oral sedative may be prescribed.
Patients with Special Needs
Patients with special needs are welcome at the surgery, but may need a longer appointment slot. Please let the receptionist know of the patient's condition when making an appointment, so that the correct time may be allocated.
